But the overall process is usually far more manageable than patients first imagine. We then typically arrange your full preoperative examination for Monday morning. If everything looks as expected, the treatment can often be performed later the same day, on Monday afternoon. Both eyes can usually be treated in the same session.<\/p><p>After the procedure, you would usually stay in Zurich for a few more days so we can see you for short follow-up checks (daily during the first 4 days after surgery). Your main examination is then typically scheduled for Monday morning. After that, there are short daily follow-up visits during the first 2 days after surgery.<\/p><p>If only one eye is being treated, you should generally expect a stay of about 4 to 5 days in total.
